Internship at Dnet

At Dnet, I supported research and project work across public health, social protection, financial-sector training and community development. I gathered and checked information, prepared reports and visual materials, and communicated with participants and partner institutions.

Work in practice

Across eight projects, I turned scattered information into clear, useful work. I researched, checked details, organized data and prepared materials for fieldwork, meetings and project proposals.

Projects 1, 6 and 7

Applied research and mapping

I researched 38 health-sector NGOs across nine districts and verified their contacts, locations and areas of work. I also mapped stakeholders in four Moulvibazar upazilas and documented the eligibility and application requirements for 19 government safety-net programmes.

Projects 2, 5 and 8

Analysis and documentation

I analysed feedback from an RBS and IFRS 9 workshop and proposed four ways to improve future sessions. I also digitized pre-test and post-test assessments and prepared eight expert CVs for government proposals.

Project 3

Visual communication

I designed two promotional banners for dFin training programmes and prepared a one-page brief for the Ministry of Planning's IPIMS project. The materials were revised with feedback and approved for use.

Project 4

Professional outreach

I contacted bank representatives about participant nominations and payments, sent invitations and maintained the outreach log. This strengthened my confidence in professional communication and follow-up.

Learning and outcome

What changed in how I work.

  1. Research should lead to action

I learned to look beyond collecting information. By checking contact details, areas of work and eligibility requirements, I produced research that colleagues could use for outreach and field planning.

  2. Details matter

Working with survey responses, feedback forms and technical CVs taught me to check language, format and completeness carefully. Small errors can make good information harder to use.

  3. Feedback improves the work

Each revision helped me see the task from the audience's point of view. I became more confident in reviewing my own work, responding to feedback and preparing a stronger final version.
